Dark Souls Weapons Checklist

Every weapon, catalyst, talisman and pyromancy flame. The rare ones count toward Knight’s Honor. Where to find each one in Dark Souls: Remastered, DLC included.

Dagger

  • Dagger: Sorcerer starting weapon; also sold by the Undead Merchant (male) in Undead Burg.
  • Ghost Blade: Very rare drop from Banshees in New Londo Ruins (needs Transient Curse to hit them).
  • Bandit's Knife: Thief starting weapon; rare drop from the Undead Assassins in Lower Undead Burg.
  • Parrying Dagger: On a corpse in the upper part of New Londo Ruins, near where the first Banshee floats.
  • Priscilla's Dagger: Cut off Crossbreed Priscilla's tail during her fight; strike it first before she vanishes.
  • Dark Silver Tracer (Artorias of the Abyss): From Lord's Blade Ciaran after Artorias: hand her the Soul of Artorias or kill her (comes with the Gold Tracer).

Straight Sword

  • Straight Sword Hilt: Starting weapon of the Deprived class only; cannot be found elsewhere.
  • Broken Straight Sword: Uncommon drop from sword-carrying Hollows in Undead Burg, the Depths and similar areas.
  • Broadsword: Knight starting weapon; sold by Andre of Astora.
  • Shortsword: Hunter starting weapon; sold by the Undead Merchant (male) and dropped by Hollow Warriors.
  • Longsword: Warrior starting weapon; sold by Andre of Astora, rare drop from sword-and-shield Undead Soldiers.
  • Barbed Straight Sword: Chance to drop when you defeat the invader Kirk, Knight of Thorns (Depths, Demon Ruins or Lost Izalith).
  • Sunlight Straight Sword: Dropped by Solaire of Astora when he dies (killed by you or lost at the end of his questline).
  • Balder Side Sword: Rare drop from Balder Knights carrying the Balder Shield (Undead Parish, Sen's Fortress).
  • Astora's Straight Sword: Lying by the Undead Dragon in the Valley of Drakes; the Master Key opens an early route there.
  • Silver Knight Straight Sword: Rare drop from sword-wielding Silver Knights in Anor Londo.
  • Drake Sword: Sever the Hellkite Wyvern's tail on the Undead Burg bridge, e.g. with arrows shot from under the bridge.
  • Darksword: Reward for reaching rank 2 in the Darkwraith covenant.
  • Crystal Straight Sword: Sold by Domhnall of Zena; rare drop from sword-wielding Crystal Hollow Soldiers in the Duke's Archives.

Greatsword

  • Bastard Sword: Sold by Andre of Astora.
  • Black Knight Sword: Drop from sword-wielding Black Knights (Undead Burg, Catacombs, Asylum revisit, Tomb, Kiln - Kiln ones respawn).
  • Claymore: On a corpse on the Hellkite Wyvern's bridge in Undead Burg.
  • Flamberge: Sold by Shiva of the East; rare drop from Serpent Mages in Sen's Fortress and the Archives.
  • Crystal Greatsword: Sold by Domhnall of Zena.
  • Man-serpent Greatsword: Rare drop from greatsword-wielding Man-serpents in Sen's Fortress or the Duke's Archives.
  • Great Lord Greatsword: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 dagger, straight sword or greatsword plus the Soul of Gwyn, Lord of Cinder.
  • Moonlight Greatsword: Cut off Seath the Scaleless's middle tail during the real fight in the Crystal Cave.
  • Greatsword of Artorias: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 Broken Straight Sword or Straight Sword Hilt plus the Soul of Sif.
  • Greatsword of Artorias (Cursed): Giant Blacksmith ascension: any other +10 dagger, straight sword or greatsword plus the Soul of Sif.
  • Stone Greatsword: Sold by Shiva of the East (Forest Hunter members); rare drop from Giant Stone Knights in Darkroot Garden.
  • Abyss Greatsword (Artorias of the Abyss): Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 greatsword, straight sword or dagger plus the Soul of Artorias.
  • Obsidian Greatsword (Artorias of the Abyss): Sever Black Dragon Kalameet's tail in the Royal Wood before killing it.

Ultra Greatsword

  • Dragon Greatsword: Cut the tail of the Everlasting Dragon in Ash Lake; it does not anger the dragon.
  • Greatsword: Sold by the Crestfallen Merchant; also on a corpse near the Painted World painting in Anor Londo.
  • Black Knight Greatsword: Drop from greatsword Black Knights (Undead Parish, respawning ones in the Kiln of the First Flame).
  • Zweihander: On a corpse in the graveyard behind Firelink Shrine, guarded by skeletons.
  • Demon Great Machete: Sold by Shiva of the East; can drop from the Capra Demon or Capra Demons in the Demon Ruins.

Curved Sword

  • Scimitar: Wanderer starting weapon; sold by the Undead Merchant (male); rare drop from scimitar skeletons.
  • Shotel: On a ledge near the first rolling boulder in Sen's Fortress; also sold by Shiva of the East.
  • Falchion: With the Wanderer clothes in Blighttown; skeletons in the Catacombs can drop it too.
  • Quelaag's Furysword: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 curved sword plus the Soul of Quelaag.
  • Painting Guardian Sword: Rare drop from the Painting Guardians in Anor Londo.
  • Jagged Ghost Blade: Very rare drop from twin-blade ghosts in New Londo Ruins.
  • Gold Tracer (Artorias of the Abyss): From Lord's Blade Ciaran after Artorias: give her his soul or kill her (comes with the Dark Silver Tracer).

Katana

  • Uchigatana: Sold by Shiva of the East; also dropped by the Undead Merchant (male) if you kill him.
  • Washing Pole: Sold by Shiva of the East.
  • Iaito: Jump to a small platform close to the upper Blighttown bonfire.
  • Chaos Blade: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 katana plus the Soul of Quelaag.

Curved Greatsword

  • Server: In the leech nest in the poison swamp at the bottom of Blighttown.
  • Murakumo: Dropped by Shiva of the East when killed; rare drop from Giant Skeletons.
  • Gravelord Sword: Gift for joining the Gravelord Servant covenant (coffin in the Catacombs).

Piercing Sword

  • Rapier: Sold by the Undead Merchant (male); rare drop from rapier Balder Knights.
  • Estoc: On a corpse along the lower path from Firelink Shrine towards New Londo Ruins.
  • Mail Breaker: In the first room on the right where the Undead Thieves ambush you in Lower Undead Burg.
  • Ricard's Rapier: On a corpse on the upper level of Sen's Fortress.
  • Velka's Rapier: Use the Annex Key in the Painted World, go upstairs and break the planks to reach the corpse.

Axe

  • Hand Axe: Pyromancer starting weapon; sold by the Undead Merchant (male).
  • Gargoyle Tail Axe: Cut off the tail of a Bell Gargoyle on the Undead Parish roof or a gargoyle in Anor Londo.
  • Battle Axe: Bandit starting weapon; sold by Andre of Astora.
  • Butcher Knife: Dropped by Maneater Mildred when you defeat her as an invader in Blighttown.
  • Crescent Axe: Buy it from Patches the Hyena at Firelink Shrine, or kill him for it.
  • Golem Axe: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 axe plus the Core of an Iron Golem.

Greataxe

  • Demon's Greataxe: Sold by Shiva of the East; rare drop from Taurus Demons in the Demon Ruins.
  • Greataxe: In a crate past the rats near the Depths bonfire; also sold by the Crestfallen Merchant.
  • Dragon King Greataxe: Cut off the Gaping Dragon's tail during the fight in the Depths.
  • Black Knight Greataxe: Drop from axe Black Knights (one in the Catacombs, respawning one in the Kiln of the First Flame).
  • Stone Greataxe (Artorias of the Abyss): Rare drop from the Stone Guardians in the Royal Wood.

Hammer

  • Club: Deprived starting weapon; sold by the Undead Merchant (male).
  • Reinforced Club: Sold by the Undead Merchant (male) in Undead Burg.
  • Mace: Cleric starting weapon; sold by Patches; on a corpse before Pinwheel's fog gate.
  • Morning Star: In a chest on a ledge below the stairs where Petrus stands at Firelink Shrine.
  • Warpick: Sold by Andre of Astora.
  • Pickaxe: Rare drop from boulder-throwing barbarians in Blighttown.
  • Blacksmith Hammer: Only obtainable by killing Andre of Astora.
  • Blacksmith Giant Hammer: Only obtainable by killing the Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo.
  • Hammer of Vamos: Only obtainable by killing Vamos in the Catacombs.

Great Hammer

  • Demon's Great Hammer: Beat the Asylum Demon in your very first encounter, before getting your gear.
  • Great Club: On a small island in Blighttown's swamp near Quelaag's Domain, among the barbarians.
  • Large Club: Rare drop from club-carrying barbarians in Blighttown.
  • Dragon Tooth: In a chest in Havel's hidden room behind the fireplace illusion wall in Anor Londo.
  • Smough's Hammer: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 hammer or great hammer plus the Soul of Smough.
  • Grant: Dropped by the invader Paladin Leeroy in the Tomb of the Giants (you must be human).

Fist

  • Caestus: Sold by Andre of Astora.
  • Claw: Sold by Shiva of the East.
  • Dragon Bone Fist: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 Caestus or Claw plus the Core of an Iron Golem.
  • Dark Hand: Gift for joining the Darkwraiths via Kaathe; rare drop from Darkwraiths in New Londo Ruins.

Spear

  • Spear: Sold by the Undead Merchant (male); dropped by spear-carrying soldiers.
  • Winged Spear: On a corpse in the graveyard behind Firelink Shrine.
  • Demon's Spear: Sold by Shiva of the East; rare drop from the Batwing Demons in Anor Londo.
  • Pike: Sold by Andre of Astora.
  • Dragonslayer Spear: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 spear or rapier plus the Soul of Ornstein.
  • Partizan: On a corpse in Darkroot Garden below a two-headed lizard, near the Elite Knight armor.
  • Channeler's Trident: Very rare drop from Channelers (respawning ones in the Duke's Archives).
  • Silver Knight Spear: Rare drop from spear-wielding Silver Knights in Anor Londo.
  • Moonlight Butterfly Horn: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 spear or rapier plus the Soul of the Moonlight Butterfly.
  • Four-pronged Plow (Artorias of the Abyss): Dropped by the Scarecrows (gardeners) in the Royal Wood.

Halberd

  • Halberd: In front of the church entrance in Undead Parish.
  • Gargoyle's Halberd: Random drop from the Bell Gargoyles or the Anor Londo gargoyles.
  • Titanite Catch Pole: Rare drop from Titanite Demons.
  • Black Knight Halberd: Drop from halberd Black Knights (Darkroot Basin, Tomb of the Giants, respawning ones in the Kiln).
  • Great Scythe: In a nook in the Catacombs reached by dropping off the second spinning bridge.
  • Lifehunt Scythe: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 scythe, whip or halberd plus the Soul of Priscilla.
  • Scythe: In the small room behind the Titanite Demon at the bottom of Sen's Fortress.
  • Lucerne: In a small skeleton-guarded room past the first bridge in the Catacombs.
  • Giant's Halberd: Sold by the Giant Blacksmith; rare drop from the Sentinels in sunlit Anor Londo.

Whip

  • Whip: On a small platform near the top of the shaft in upper Blighttown.
  • Notched Whip: Dropped by the invader Xanthous King Jeremiah in the Painted World graveyard.
  • Guardian Tail (Artorias of the Abyss): Cut off the Sanctuary Guardian's tail (lesser Sanctuary Guardians in Royal Wood can also give it).

Bow

  • Short Bow: Hunter starting weapon; sold by the Undead Merchant (male).
  • Longbow: On a ledge on the path from Darkroot Garden down to the Basin, with the Hunter set.
  • Composite Bow: On a ledge above the big gates of New Londo Ruins facing the Valley of Drakes.
  • Black Bow of Pharis: Dropped by Pharis, the hunter on the cliff near Alvina in Darkroot Garden.
  • Darkmoon Bow: Giant Blacksmith ascension: +10 bow plus the Soul of Gwyndolin.

Greatbow

  • Dragonslayer Greatbow: Climb to the broken window in the hall before Ornstein and Smough and walk out to a corpse.
  • Gough's Greatbow (Artorias of the Abyss): Given by Hawkeye Gough after Black Dragon Kalameet dies, or dropped if you kill him.

Crossbow

  • Light Crossbow: On a balcony in upper Undead Burg reached by jumping across from a rooftop.
  • Heavy Crossbow: In the area just before the Gaping Dragon in the Depths.
  • Sniper Crossbow: Below the broken bridge near the Sen's Fortress bonfire.
  • Avelyn: In a chest on top of a bookshelf in the Duke's Archives, reached via the moving staircase.

Pyromancy Flame

  • Pyromancy Flame: Pyromancer starting item; given by Laurentius after you free him in the Depths, or by Eingyi.
  • Pyromancy Flame (Ascended): Have Quelaana in Blighttown ascend a +15 Pyromancy Flame; it can then be raised to +5.

Catalyst

  • Sorcerer's Catalyst: Sorcerer starting item; next to Griggs's cell in Lower Undead Burg; sold by Griggs and Rickert.
  • Izalith Catalyst: Dropped by the Daughter of Chaos in front of the Bed of Chaos door in Lost Izalith.
  • Logan's Catalyst: Appears in a chest where Logan sat in the Archives once he leaves (after Seath and all his spells).
  • Beatrice's Catalyst: With the Witch set on a ledge in the Valley of Drakes, after the Four Kings are dead.
  • Oolacile Ivory Catalyst: Sold by Dusk of Oolacile once you free her in Darkroot Basin and summon her.
  • Demon's Catalyst: Dropped by the Demon Firesage in the Demon Ruins.
  • Tin Banishment Catalyst: On a corpse in Blighttown, across a root near the lift down to the swamp.
  • Tin Crystallization Catalyst: Dropped by the maddened Big Hat Logan in Seath's first arena in the Archives.
  • Tin Darkmoon Catalyst: Giant Blacksmith ascension: a normal catalyst plus the Soul of Gwyndolin.
  • Oolacile Catalyst (Artorias of the Abyss): Very rare drop from Oolacile Sorcerers (Township and Chasm of the Abyss).
  • Manus Catalyst (Artorias of the Abyss): Giant Blacksmith ascension: a catalyst plus the Soul of Manus.

Talisman

  • Talisman: In a chest at Firelink Shrine under the lift to Undead Parish; sold by Petrus.
  • Canvas Talisman: Cleric starting item; sold by Patches the Hyena.
  • Thorolund Talisman: Sold by Petrus of Thorolund or Patches the Hyena.
  • Ivory Talisman: Dropped by Reah of Thorolund (killed or hollowed in the Archives) or by Petrus after he kills her.
  • Sunlight Talisman: Dropped by Solaire of Astora when he dies.
  • Velka's Talisman: Sold by Oswald of Carim in the Undead Parish bell tower.
  • Darkmoon Talisman: Darkmoon Blade covenant reward for offering 10 Souvenirs of Reprisal.
